VinUniversity (Vingroup) – the first private, not-for-profit university of excellence in Vietnam – officially opened its first academic year with seven majors in three fields: Business Administration, Engineering and Computer Science, and Health Sciences.
VinGroup fulfilled its obligations to deliver ventilators to Singapore, Russia and Ukraine. This included invasive ventilators called Vsmart VFS-510 that VinGroup produced for non-profit purpose to aid COVID-19 treatment in many countries.
On May 6th 2020, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Vietnam and the Embassy of Ukraine in Vietnam signed a memorandum of agreement to receive 2,400 invasive ventilators for COVID-19 treatment given by Vingroup.
VinAI Research has become one of the first units in the world to successfully study this technology. VinAI is willing to provide the recognition technology to the community for free to contribute to the prevention of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
At 12 PM on March 30th, 2020, the Group’s Leaders convened an emergency meeting and requested all of its Research Institutes to stop daily tasks and focus on finding and researching methods to produce ventilators.
The event not only marks VinAI in the world technology community, but also shows the transformation of Vingroup into a leading technology corporation, gradually integrating with the global technology peak.
